The Scoop on the New Designs....
Ok, so we had an unforseen delay in the production schedule for our new stamp designs. Kitty apologizes from the bottom of her deeply etched, red rubber heart!
However, we are back on track and hope to have the new rubber pressed and in-house, ready for shipment by Oct. 1. We'll continue to provide updates until we have the goods on hand. In the meantime, have a look-see at the new images - Mexican Folk Art and Antiques & Ephemera.
You are also welcome to pre-order: we will get the stamps in the mail to you as soon as they hit our inky little fingers!

Just got Kathy Cano-Murillo's fantastic book, Making Shadow Boxes & Shrines, from the gods of Amazon today. She features lots of great pieces, from Joseph Cornell inspired stuff, to her snazzy/glittery/over-the-top Latino folk art. If you're a book addict and assemblage freak like me, you'll want this for your library!

I've been in love with City Zen Cane's work for eons.... I think I first saw them at a Sugerloaf Mountain craft show and again many times at ACC shows. They are mainly producing work under their own names now, Steven Ford and David Forlano... hence their website, FordForlano.
I really like the direction their work has taken, not that their old stuff wasn't incredible, but their current work is so "grown up". They were also featured in the Winter issue of Metalsmith - definitely a testamint to the fact that they have achieved a lofty status.
